The shift required in leadership requires districts and site leaders to be able to move adult performance to the next level. Participants will be actively engaged in the necessary leadership skills and actions required to lead 21st century schools.
Shifting resources in the LCAP in coaching principals and teacher leaders, Superintendents will be provided a leadership rubric that illustrates the indicators of Level V Courageous Leadership.
The information from the workshop can be used to assess current leadership practices and actions. In addition, each participant will be provided a Culturally Conscious Teacher Leader Continuum to ensure that Equity and Cultural Responsiveness in an integral piece of coaching teachers. Desired Outcomes:
- Identifying and comparing the necessary skills for 21st Century Leaders
- Examine and assess the Equity Teacher Efficacy Framework
- Appraise current district practices to assess and evaluate Return on Investment of district professional development
