California school districts will transition into a new era of accountability in 2016-17 with SBE adoption of LCAP accountability metrics and ESEA reauthorization. Superintendents will need to develop capacity of district administrators and school principals to effectively lead district-wide, site-driven improvement efforts by aligning systems, supports and practices with student learning outcomes. This session combines current research and best practices from the field into a simple and impactful framework for leading district-wide systems improvement.
