Zero Tolerance to Zero Suspensions

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Reducing student suspensions and expulsions and eliminating the school to prison pipeline has been the focus of school leaders, legislators and civil rights organizations at both the state and federal level.  No longer can alternatives to school discipline be ignored with the inclusion of school climate in your LCAP.  Three of California’s leaders on the issues surrounding suspension and expulsion of students will present effective strategies for adults to use in order to change student behavior.  Reducing student suspensions and expulsions has been proven to result in an increase in student outcomes and graduation rates and provides a safer learning environment for students, teachers and principals.
